Il Monastero di \u201cAl Piede della Croce\u201d<\/strong> fu fondato nel 1597<\/strong> per le monache provenienti dal Monastero delle Serve di Maria di Sagunto<\/strong>, fondato, a sua volta, secondo il carismadell\u2019Ordine dei Servi di Maria; un\u2019Ordine mendicante del secolo XIII, iniziato dai Sette Santi Fondatori; un Ordine, la cui componente femminile ha come ispiratrice e madre spirituale santa Giuliana Falconieri<\/strong>. Infatti, fu nel giorno della sua festa, il 19 giugno 1900,\u00a0 che Maria Ricart Olmos fece la professione solenne, prendendo il nome di Suor Maria Guadalupe.<\/strong><\/p>\n Innamorata del carisma dell\u2019Ordine, visse pienamente i suoi valori: la carit\u00e0 fraterna e l\u2019unit\u00e0, la preghiera contemplativa e l\u2019umile servizio, l\u2019amore e la devozione alla Vergine Addolorata<\/strong>, a cui si rivolgeva con fervore recitando la Corona dei Sette Dolori<\/strong> e identificandosi con le sofferenze della Vergine Maria. Mentre contemplava la Passione di Ges\u00f9 e meditava sul dolore di sua Madre ai piedi della croce cercava sempre il raccoglimento e praticava la penitenza fisica. Dato il suo carattere gioviale, la sua forte spiritualit\u00e0 e la sua capacit\u00e0 di guida,<\/strong> accett\u00f2 l\u2019ufficio di Maestra delle Novizie nel periodo 1928 \u2013 1931; successivamente ricopr\u00ec l\u2019ufficio di Priora, proprio durante gli anni difficili e oscuri 1931 \u2013 1934. Terminato il suo priorato, fu di nuovo eletta Maestra delle Novizie<\/strong>, rimanendo in carica fino al suo martirio e dando alle sue sorelle il pi\u00f9 importante dei suoi insegnamenti.<\/p>\n Manifest\u00f2 costantemente un grande amore per la liturgia, per la storia e la spiritualit\u00e0 dell\u2019Ordine<\/strong>, come si pu\u00f2 riscontrare dal suo scambio di lettere con la Curia generalizia dei Servi di Maria di Roma e con la comunit\u00e0 di Monte Senario, culla dell\u2019Ordine. La sua umilt\u00e0<\/strong> sempre prevalse sul suo carattere e sulle sue doti personali, poich\u00e9 considerava se stessa \u201cl\u2019ultima delle Serve\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n
